Chiropractic has been taught in Minnesota since at least 1899 - only a few years after the technique was proposed by D. D. Palmer in 1895. This site includes an interactive timeline of major events and eras of teaching chiropractic in Minnesota, plus an interactive map of locations for chiropractic schools and teachers.

This site was created by Monica R. Howell, EdS, MLS, librarian, archivist, and assistant professor at Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU), in 2017. The timeline was created with TimelineJS and the map with StoryMapJS.

The site is based on research done by John B. Wolfe, Jr., DC, JD, chiropractor, historian, and associate professor at NWHSU, and Monica Howell in 2016.
